2009 - 2014

I began my education by attending Drimnagh Castle Primary School on the Long Mile Road in Walkinstown, I attended between 2003 and 2009 finishing top of my classes and became a favourite of many teachers due to my excellent attention, attendance and ability to follow the school rules.

It was then I moved up to Drimnagh Castle Secondary School located directly across from my previous school. Due to an outstanding record in the primary school I was immediatelty placed into the A1 class which was the highest class available at the time.
During my time here I got on well with all of my teachers once again and managed to keep up a great attendance while maintaining relatively high grades in all honour level subjects.
Overall I attended 5 years in the school completing both my Junior and Leaving Certificate.

Upon finishing my Leaving Certificate in Drimnagh Castle Secondary School with 285 points I proceeded to continue with my studies and was accepted into the Computing course in the Institute of Technology Tallaght.

I was accepted into the Level 7 BSc course which I recently graduated from and received my certificate. I have been allowed to stay on in the course and complete the Level 8 Bsc (Hons) which I fully intend on completing.

Description:
Initially started as a hobby, these projects usually started by being commisioned by someone to recreate a picture of them in the game minecraft. They would be done in an art style know as 'pixel art' which requires making a large image out of individual small pixels. A lot of these projects were very successful with there still being demand for more.

Description:
This project was done in my spare time over the summer of 2017 as a way of becoming familiar with Unity and the C# language before developing the much larger and more ambitious 4th year project. It consisted of a 2D character moving around a small level with various animations, physics and music.

Work Experience

transdev

Student Intern

Jun '17 - Aug '17

Developed a database which Transdev will use to improve their communications with residents along each of the LUAS lines, including the new LUAS Cross City Line. The work involved consolidating an existing Excel database with Google Maps & Google Earth kmz/kml files for a fluid experience to be used when delivering leaflets to residential areas due to maintenance night works. The role required advanced knowledge of Google Earth and Maps alongside an understanding of Excel. A further requirement was to present each week to the communications, maintenance and environmental departments on the progress of the project. All work was completed within the time frame and all parties were very happy with the final product.
